We are committed to inclusivity and serve couples of all backgrounds in Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland & Delaware regions. Toast was founded by Zach & Callie, a husband and wife team. Zach is a documentary cinematographer and producer known for the Sundance Grand Jury Prize winning documentary, The Price of Free, with another 5 documentaries premiering at Tribeca Film Festival. Callie, in addition to being an experienced wedding and travel photographer, has collaborated with some of the most renowned photographers globally, editing photos for the covers of Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar, and more. Since 2014, we've been honored to capture over 3,000 weddings for incredible couples, winning Couple’s Choice on Wedding Wire, Knot Hall of Fame and Knot Best of Weddings eight years in a row. We pride ourselves on creating all of your wedding media as a collaboration, deeply valuing what matters most to you. We understand that we're not just capturing any event, we’re telling a love story that becomes a part of your family history, through multiple different mediums. All aspects of your wedding media package (photo, film, and/or social content creation) are completely customizable. We encourage you to be as hands-on as you like, and we make it easy for you to help guide every aspect. Even after the first draft of your wedding film is delivered, you'll have complimentary rounds of edits to ensure your film is exactly what you envisioned. They were absolutely amazing, informative, and after we received the first cut of of final highlights film we were so blown away how perfect and well done it was. It just completely and totally felt like “us”, our style, our personality, and it’s as if things just unfolded yesterday they captured it all so incredibly well. They were so accommodating of our needs and tastes when it came to the editing process although not much editing was necessary after we saw the initial video we were so impressed. For a couple that almost decided to forgo a videographer since we weren’t sure it was worth it…all we have to say is DO IT! Hire Toast, because of all our investments for the big day, aside from the venue, choosing Toast Wedding films was easily the BEST money spent and so totally worth it! ly what you want/need. From our initial inquiry to booking (deposit and balance) to the month-of/weed-of/day-of coordination, they were incredibly responsive, professional, and easy to work with. On our wedding day, our videographer was Josh and he couldn't have been nicer or a better fit for us. He worked with our photographers so well, really complementing and capturing their vision, and he made us feel so comfortable (even when we really weren't that comfortable being recorded). The final product came a little earlier than expected, and it brought us to tears. Our love and day was so beautifully captured and the soundbites chosen were perfect in telling our story and weaving it throughout the whole highlight film. We were especially grateful to get the full non-edited version of our ceremony, dances, cake cutting, etc. It was truly a joy to work with him and the whole Toast team!

ure out what we wanted included in our contract. They answered all of our questions. On the day of the wedding, the videographer showed up early, took some shots of the grounds of our venue and did such a good job working with our photographers to get all of the shots they both needed. I thought it would take a while to get our videos back from editing but we had them back within 4 weeks of our wedding day. I had a few edits I asked them to make which they turned around within 48 hours. Overall we had an awesome experience working with the amazing creators at Toast and now we have a beautifully crafted memory we get to keep forever. Thank you so much, Toast Team!!
